Trying to join the Congress was another mistake. Now not to contest was the right decision, but supporting the Congress was like jumping into the fire from the frypan.
Now, with her party’s support for the Congress, the existing political and personal differences between Sharmila and her brother Jagan the CM of AP are likely to intensify, further deepening the rift between the siblings.
Mother Vijayamma and sister Sharmila worked for Jagan and now they have huge differences. Jagan is keeping them at a distance and is not sharing anything.
The Congress was the reason for Jagan facing all the cases and going to jail earlier. Now Sharmila has decided to support the Congress and the Congress did not take her into the party.
Sharmila may not get anything in the near future even after supporting the party. She went all the way to Delhi and met Sonia Gandhi, but things did not materialize.
Revanth clarified to the AICC that Sharmila is of no use to the party here in Telangana. People are asking as to where was the need for Sharmila to start a political party in Telangana.
Let’s hope Sharmila will get recognition as a leader in the near future.
