The dead body of Sharat Koppu the 26-year-old student who was shot dead in Kansas was brought to Hyderabad last night and later arrangements were made to shift the body to Warangal his hometown. The Telangana state Government made all the arrangements to get the body from USA and then shift it to Warangal.Rajendranagar MLA Prakash Goud and Police Official Sajjanar paid their respects to the mortal remains of Sharat here at the Shamshabad airport.
Sharat studied at Kansas City and was working in a fish and chicken market as a part-timer where he was shot from the back. After working as a software engineer he moved to USA for masters and was doing a part-time job there. Police have announced a reward of 10000 dollars for identifying the culprit who shot at Koppu. He was seen on the CCTV footage but yet to be traced so far.Agarwal theChancellor of UKMC university offered his condolences in a tweet. Earlier the Telangana Ministers kadiyam Srihari and KT Rama Rao visited the parents of Sharat and consoled them.
