After the super-duper success of Arjun Reddy as Kabir Singh in Hindi, Shahid Kapoor is on cloud 9. Now Dharma productions is considering him for Jersey to be remade in Hindi it is reported.
Dil Raju, Aravind Allu and Dharma productions have come together to make Jersey in Hindi for Bollywood. But the real hitch is that Shahid who is being considered for the movie is riding the success wave of Kabir Singh and he is demanding a remuneration of Rs 40 crore it is reported.
Karan Johar was initially considering Rana of Baahubali fame for this movie, but later they shifted to Shahid it is reported.
However, with three big producers coming together for the movie, there should be no issue for the Rs 40 crore remuneration demanded by Shahid Kapoor.
We can say that Arjun Kapoor directed by Sandeep Vanga has made all the difference to him in the career. If Jersey becomes a hit in Hindi, Shahid might demand more in the near future.
Anyway, Dil Raju is moving to Bollywood with Jersey, and Allu Aravind has already got the experience of Ghajini with Aamir Khan.
