In pursuance of the guidelines issued by the National Legal Services Authority, the Telangana State Legal Services Authority has organised National Lok Adalat on 14-12-2019 throughout the State.
Under the guidance and leadership of Hon’ble Justice Raghvendra S.Chauhan, the Chief Justice of High Court for the State of Telangana & Patron-in Chief, Telangana State Legal Services Authority, Hon’ble Sri Justice M.S.Ramachandra Rao, Executive Chairman, Telangana State Legal Services Authority and Justice P.Naveen Rao, Chairman, High Court Legal Services Committee, the Telangana State Legal Services Authority has coordinated with all the District Legal Services Authorities in the State and organized the National Lok Adalat on 14-12-2019.
In this National Lok Adalat, 25,985 cases i.e., 14462 Pre-litigation cases and 11523 Court pending Cases of all categories have been settled upto 5:00 pm in all the Districts of Telangana State and an amount of Rs.54.60 Crores is awarded as compensation in the above settled cases.
