So far no brief on the security lapse has been explained by the police in the case of the murder attempt and stabbing of the BRS MP Kotha Prabhakar Reddy the Dubbaka MLA candidate.
Even after the stabbing, the security was not seen around the MP who was out of danger and ailing in the Yashoda Hospital. CM KCR and Health Minister Harish Rao reacted immediately and shifted Prabhakar to Hyderabad for modern treatment.
Some portion of the MP’s small intestine was removed and reconstructed.
It will take a week for Kotha to be discharged. We have to see if he will be in a position to campaign for the coming elections. The DGP or the local SP have not reacted to the incident.
Were the gunmen present at the site of the incident is the question? Today a bandh was called in Dubbaka against the stabbing incident of the MP.
Some photos of Raju the accused with a Congress scarf around his neck were seen in the media. Raju who stabbed the MP seems to be a Congress supporter and he worked as a stringer also with the local channels.
The security people have to be suspended for this lapse. The BRS leaders on the other hand condemned the murder politics of the Congress party.
Siddipet people are discussing the stabbing incident and no one knows what really prompted Raju to make an attempt on the life of MP Prabhakar.
