Veteran Journalist and film critic Gudipudi Srihar has died. He breathed his last on Monday night. He was 88 and survived by a daughter and a son.
Gudipudi was the first journalist who wrote an article against the Corporate hospital’s bad culture of cheating and extracting money from the patients.
He used to write for Eenadu and also Hindu as a columnist. He was very popular in the Cinema circles.
Guipudi remained active as a film journalist for nearly five decades.
Known for making film criticism, the veteran Telugu film critic has many fans. Many of our leading actors and directors loved his writing.
Srihari was also a news broadcaster on All India Radio. His popular satirical column ‘Harivillu’ ran for 25 years. Gudipudi used to attend the functions with the CMs and also film stars.
He used to move like a celebrity with the popular heroes and also the leading ladies.
