The Rs 80000 crore bullet train project could be scrapped by the Akhadi government under the leadership of Sena it looks like. Uddhav Thackeray might take decisions like Jagan scrapping the projects of earlier BJP Government in the state of Maharashtra.
In the name of farmers welfare and in the name of protecting the environment several projects could be stalled it is learnt. We don’t need bullet Train could be the slogan.
If at all the project has to continue then the Central Government must agree to take all the financial burden of the 80000 crores. The NCP led by Sharad Pawar will also fight for the welfare farmers. The new Government formed with the three parties will first give immediate relief to the farming community.
So far 50 per cent of the land required for the Bullet train project has been acquired by the Rail corporation responsible for the implementation of the project.
There could be a review of the decision taken by the earlier BJP Government under Fadnavis also. The way Supriya greeted the former CM Fadnavis into the Assembly shows that they do not want to fight with the BJP.
But with NCP and Congress leaders by their side, the Sena would be forced to adopt an aggressive posture against the BJP in the state and also the centre.
Amit Shah the Home Minister will definitely throw spanners in the wheels of the Government at an opportune time.
