The State election commission has announced the Panchayat elections schedule in Andhra Pradesh while the Government has approached the High Court to stop the elections.

It looks like the SEC may fail again in conducting the elections for the Panchayats in the state. YSRC Government brands the SEC as a TDP man and that is the reason they will not allow him to conduct the elections.

His tenure will end soon and then the AP Government might conduct the polls here. As Jagan is facing the flak from the people for various reasons the situation is not conducive to face the polls.

They already have a gigantic task in the name of Tirupathi parliament. Both TDP and BJP are trying to trounce YSRC here in Tirupathi. The employees and the police are saying no the local polls.

But the SEC is planning to go ahead with the election schedule. The TDP has welcomed the decision of SEC to conduct polls in the state. The state machinery said that they cannot go for the poll duty as they are busy with the Covid vaccination.

Now we have to wait for the court decision in this regard. SEC has given the example of other states where elections were conducted during the Covid conditions.
