Cyberabad Police got 4 New Patrol vehicles for the benefit of the residents of upcoming areas of Cyberabad zone (under Police Stations of RC Puram, Narsingi & Gachibowli) for a safe ecosystem, as a proactive measure. These brand new Patrolling vehicles were launched by Cyberabad Commissioner of Police Shri Stephen Raveendra.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr Krishna Yedula said “ SCSC has been proactively working with Cyberabad Police & taken several initiatives to ensure safety and security of the IT corridor. I have been part of SCSC since 2006 and incidentally the first initiative which was taken up by SCSC was of supporting Cyberabad Police with the active support of the IT Industry.
One of the latest initiatives is providing 4 brand new Scorpio vehicles to the police department to support better patrolling in the fast developing areas of the Commissionerate areas like Tellapur, Kollur, RC Puram, Gachibowli extension. Majority of the residents living in these areas work in IT Industry and this is another step for their safety, Security and peaceful living”. He said that SCSC has a whatsapp group of around 410 members from various resident communities of Cyberabad area.
Speaking on the occasion, Commissioner of Cyberabad Sri Stephen Raveendra, IPS said “ Western part of Hyderabad, is the fastest growing area and areas like Narsingi, RC Puram, Tellapur, Kollur & Gachibowli extension areas have a large no. of big residential projects and buzzing with new residential project launches, almost every month, Even the ready to occupy gated communities of villas and apartments brings in new requirements of law & order every day. Keeping the growth of this area in mind, 2 police stations have been sanctioned, one at Kollur & one at Tellapur. Government’s top priority is Law & Order and also supporting the police by recruiting around 750 police additional staff required & other necessary items.
Our decisions are evidence based and police have analysed, tracked various data points like hot spots where accidents or any incidents took place, before launching these patrol vehicles, to ensure that the police can reach the incident spot within 5 minutes of reporting. I also thank SCSC for supporting the Cyberabad Police in all its endeavours. To address these growing areas requirements, with the support of SCSC, today we have launched these 4 brand new Scorpios for continuous patrolling of the mentioned areas. This is another proactive initiative of Cyberabad Police Commissionerate, and this is in a positive direction”.
