Popular Indian film director, actor, singer and producer M. Sasikumar participates in Geen India Challenge:M. Sasikumar planted saplings at his residence in Chennai today.
He said that he participated by accepting GIC from character artist Jaya Prakash and inspired by Rajya Sabha MP Joginapally Santosh Kumar.
He felt that it’s our responsibility to plant trees and save them as it would reduce the pollution.
He nominated actor Samuthirakani actress Nikhil Vimal and actress Anjali to continue the Challenge. Santosh Kumar the TRS MP took up this challenge as an inspiration from the CM KCRs Haritha Haram program.
Haritha Haram is the Government program to provide green cover to the state of Telangana and Green Indic Challenge is an extension to Haritha Haram. People from all walks of life have participated in this program.
There is an overwhelming response from the celebrities also.
