Sarkaru Vaari Paata the latest film from Mahesh is yet to make a turn around it is reported. Mahesh is also a partner in production. That was the reason he went all the way to Kurnool for the promotion of the movie.
Not only that he has danced on the stage going out of the way. The movie is a hit but not up to the mark to make collections like that of Akhanda.
The movie will complete ten days by 22nd of this month. We do not know if the collections are real or not. Some say it is one hundred and fifty crores while others say it is only a hundred crores.
The Mythri Movies and Mahesh are hopeful that they may not go into losses and it is going to be break-even. There is no mass hysteria as such for the movie and the increase in the rate of ticket rates is making all the difference for the movies in General in the Telugu states.
The Industry people must come to a decision that they must sell the ticket at regular rates and also reduce the theatres while releasing a new movie.
The Film producers and exhibitors are meeting today to this extent. Dil Raju the mega-producer has already announced that his next movie F- three will not hike the ticket rates and it will be run on the regular rates only.
This will definitely draw the public to the theatres in a big way. A hundred rupee reduction per person makes all the difference for a family. Let’s hope others will also come to a decision on this aspect.
