Rajinikanth and Sarath kumar are in the midst of Tamilnadu politics. While there are rumors that Rajini might come into politics. The other star Sarathkumar released a statement opposing Rajinikanth when he comes to politics. He said “Though Rajinikanth is good friend of mine I will be the first person to oppose him when he starts the political party.”
He was asked about his view on an event by the press people. He also clarified it in his official Facebook account. It has not gone well with Rajinikanth fans and supporters and started trolling him.
Rajinikanth recently shared his opinion about Tamil Nadu as the state is in abnormal condition. His take on Tamil Nadu is asked to Sarathkumar. He started his reply with one should ask him to know about this and not him.
The superstar was at Vikatan Film Awards where he supported Jallikattu after Kamal Haasan and several celebrities gave their voice for the same. He said jallikattu is part of Tamils culture and hence should be protected.
Soon after Sarath made the negative comments, Rajini fans jumped into protests against him and burnt his effigies and portraits. They raised slogans against him and said Sarath, who could not even win in Nadigar Sangam polls and always shifted his political stands, has no right to talk about their ‘thalaivar’.
Meanwhile, Sarath has issued a statement saying he was misquoted by few sections of the media and Rajini was a good friend of him. But he maintained that he would oppose Rajini’s political entry. Sarath, who is also the president of a party called AISMK, asked his supporters to deal the protests against him as per law.
