TRS MP Santosh Kumar who is a lover of greenery has tweeted that he would give Rs 5000 per month for the Chief Ministers Green Fund. Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has requested the lawmakers to donate for the green fund for the development of the climate in General.
He made apparel to this extent in the Assembly. While the Chief Minister has sought Rs 500 per month from the lawmakers, Joginapally Santosh Kumar who is developing the greenery in the name of Green India Challenge has come forward to give Rs 5000 from his salary.
Santosh has stated that he got inspired by the KCRs program called Haritha Haram which was designed by the CM KCR where forests have been recreated by the Government under the scheme.
This will definitely inspire all the other MPs and MLAs to contribute to the Green Fund. it is a novel concept for all the states to follow and protect mother earth with the green funds.
Already the Tree plantation program is being done in a big way by the GIC founded by Santosh. More than 5 crore plantations have been done so far under the GIC.
