Santosh takes Ambedkar legacy forward

Prakash Ambedkar, former Lok Sabha MP and grandson of Dr B.R. Ambedkar, planted a sapling Joginapally Santosh Kumar, BRS MP and founder of Green India Challenge, at Begumpet here .

He was in the city for the unveiling of the tallest statue of Dr Ambedkar at necklace road.

Prakash Ambedkar said that Santosh Kumar was carrying forward the legacy of Dr Ambedkar, who was a champion of greenery and the plantation of trees.

BC welfare minister Gangula Kamalakar and BRS MLA Balka Suman were present. Green India Challenge popular as GIC is becoming popular in a phased manner.

Santosh earlier informed that it was an inspiration taken from the KCRs Haritha Haram program. This is to reduce global warming across the country.

He said that all sections of society are taking part in the program in a big way. He thanked one all for the overall encouragement.

Santosh exuded confidence that with the elite and celebrities coming forward for the sapling plantations this will become a grand success in the long run.
