Rajya Sabha MP and TRS general secretary Joginipalli Santosh Kumar presented his book “Vriksha Vedam” to TRS MLC Smt K Kavitha here on Saturday
The book, published in Telugu, English and Hindi, focusses on the improved green cover and natural beauty in Telangana due to the Haritha Haram drive by the government and the Green India Challenge initiated by Santosh Kumar.
Ms Kavitha said the book brings a lot of joy to environmental lovers and also creates awareness on greenery among the people. She also congratulated Mr. Santosh Kumar on the Green India Challenge Initiative.
Earlier the same book was presented to KTR the Minister for IT and Municipal Administration. KTR complimented Joginapally Santosh Kumar for taking up the initiative along with the Haritha Haram being inspired by the Chief Minister KCR.
On the whole the TRS MP is getting a lot of appreciation from all the quarters. Loksabha Speaker Om Birla has specifically complimented Joginapally for the same after planting saplings in the vicinity of the Parliament building.
GIC is being implemented in foreign countries also by the TRS cadres and also the Telugu people. They are happy to note that GIC helps in the promotion of good climate and reduces the Global warming to the extent possible.
