The Sankranti festivities will be observed in Sri Govindaraja Swamy temple in Tirupati.
The festival includes Bhogi Teru on January 14, Makara Sankranti on January 15, Goda Parinayam on January 16.
The issuance of SSD tokens scheduled for Vaikuntha Dwara Darshanam between January 2-11 has come to an end on Sunday with the completion of the quota.
The SSD tokens will be further issued from January 12 onwards (for the same Day’s darshan)in Srinivasam, Vishnu Nivasam and Bhudevi Complex at Tirupati only as was earlier.
With an aim to provide qualitative and quantitative hygienic food to the multitude of visiting devotees, TTD has commenced a one-day scheme under Sri Venkateswara Anna Prasadam Trust a few years ago.
The one-day component includes full-day contributions at Rs.33lakhs, a day’s breakfast at ₹7.70 lakhs, lunch at ₹12.65 lakhs, and dinner at ₹12.65 lakhs.
The name of the donor is also displayed at the MTVAC with added option to donors serving the Prasadam to devotees for day.
Presently Anna Prasadam is being distributed at MTVAC, old Annaprasadam in PAC 4, PAC 2 Vaikunta Queue Complex 1 & 2 compartments, outside queue lines, near Gali Gopuram on footpath, Srinivasam & Vishnu Nivasam complex, Ruia hospital, Maternity hospital, BIRRD, SV Ayurveda hospitals, 2&3 choultries, Tiruchanoor Anna Prasadam Bhavan.
Additionally, Prasadam is distributed at food counters in Tirumala, waiting for complex of senior citizens, challenged persons,₹300 entry Darshan complex, main Kalyan katta where coffee, tea and milk for children are also provided.
The online quota of Rs.300 for January 12 to 31 and for February will be released by TTD on January 9 at 10am.
