The BJP central leadership is not in a position to make any changes in the state of Telangana. There is widespread talk that both the Telugu states will go for elections together in December.
There are allegations the BJP leaders from both the Telugu states are hand in glove with the local ruling party leaders. In Telangana, the leaders are close to KTR and also Talasani Srinivas Yadav.
In Andhra, they deal with GVL the MP. Jagan the CM is ready to prostrate before the PM to stay away from the cases.
The past few weeks witnessed unseemly developments in the Telangana state BJP with many senior leaders looking askance at the goings on and pointing fingers at a small group of leaders as causing trouble by seeking changes in the state leadership and making pitches that under the state president Sanjay Kumar, the party has reached a peak and it cannot go any further up.
However, this talk has now been put firmly down by the central leadership, which reiterated that there will not be any change in the leadership. But it is very clear that the BJP is in no position to come to power in the Telugu states.
The local leaders could not strengthen the party in the Telugu states. When it comes to Telangana the jumping jacks are looking at Congress. The BJP is nowhere in AP.
Some big leaders and former MPs who have joined the BJP in recent times are sulking in Telangana. Kiran Kumar Reddy who joined the BJP from AP is also repenting they say.
The win in Karnataka is creating new hopes for the party across the Country. It is bound to grow and expand in Telangana.
