Yes the Sandeep Reddy Vanga-directed movie Animal will be in the cage till December. VFX work is not satisfactory and Sandeep wanted changes. Even Ranbir was not happy with the output in some scenes and they have to be redone.
It will take easily three months for the work.
Animal will tentatively drop in cinema halls on December 1. This gives it enough time before Dunki arrives at Christmas and does not face competition with Tiger, which is releasing during Diwali.
“The team believes that arriving on December 1 will give the film a 3-week window as no other film would want to come in the middle of 3 event sagas – Tiger 3, Animal, and Dunki. It’s a well-strategized date that they locked, and a 4-month delay will give the makers enough time to complete the VFX work.”
Technically this will be the second movie for Sandeep Reddy Vanga as he has done Arjun Reddy in Telugu and Hindi. It was Kabir Khan in Hindi. After Animal Sandeep has lined up Prabhas in the name of Spirit.
We do not know what is he status of Spirit. Sandeep is also in talks with Allu Arjun. The story which was written for Mahesh is being changed for Arjun it is reported.
