Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said that she hopes the people of the country will again choose the BJP in the Lok Sabha elections with a resounding mandate.

Three new major corridors for railways will be opened she stated. More medical colleges will be set up apart from the expansion of the Airports.
The Lakhpathi didi scheme will be expanded further and continued. 1000 new aircrafts will be added she said. 40000 rail bogies will be expanded.
No tax upto an income of 7 lakhs she said. No changes in Tax slab. The same tax slabs will continue. She appreciated the continued support of the tax payers for the development of the Nation.
All the tourism infra to be upgraded.
She presented the budget for about 40 minutes.
