Actress Akkineni Samantha is news all the time after getting this Akki Tag. She is everywhere in the family and Nagarjuna along with Amala are impressed with her presence.
There was this question about if she is going to work after marriage, before marriage so on and so forth. Now she is all set to announce two big Telugu projects soon. She has already signed three Tamil films, and is now all set to sign a couple of Telugu films too.
According to a source, she has also signed a biopic, where she will be playing the legendary actress Savitri. Nag Ashwin of Yevade Subramanyam fame will be directing the film.
“Many people are approaching her with several projects, but the actress is choosy about her films. She is presently taking a look at a lot of scripts and is going to announce her upcoming projects in a few days,” says a source close to the actress.
Samantha has already signed a Tamil film opposite actor Siva Karthikeyan, one opposite Vishal and another film opposite superstar Vijay, directed by Thiagarajan Kumararaja.
Apart from these, the actress will be busy with two upcoming Telugu films. “She has not signed the Telugu remake of the Kannada film U-Turn as has been reported in the media,” adds the source.
The actress had taken a short break after the success of Janata Garage, followed by the announcement of her marriage. “Now, everything has been set right and the actress is back to work,” says the source.
