These days Salman has become a very down to earth man. He is accepting small roles in some movies for his friends. He is prommoting others movies also with a big heart. He is helping his girl friends also in signing new movies. He is helping them find houses for rentals also.
Salman Khan is known for his munificence, within the industry and outside of it. And Riteish Deshmukh happens to be one man who can vouch hard for it.
The 50-year-old superstar who is almost ready to get married has confirmed he will be a part of the biopic on Chhatrapati Sivaji Maharaj in Marathi, which will have Riteish portraying the eponymous Marathi warrior.
The biopic will be helmed by National Award winning director Ravi Jadhav, who’s also directed Riteish’s Friday release, ‘Banjo’.
“It was extremely gracious of Salman to have offered to be a part of this without knowing exactly what part he is going to play. I respect that faith he has in me and our friendship,” Riteish divulged in an interview to a TV Channel.
Salman, who had also done a quirky cameo in the actor’s highly successful ‘Lai Bhaari,’ had said that his role in the film won’t be limited to being a cameo.
When quizzed on the same the actor revealed that it would be too premature to talk about it since the film was still in the scripting stage. Salman, who’s quite fluent in Marathi, apparently converses with Riteish in the language regularly.
The actor also realises that recreating the bygone era of Maratha dominance convincingly on-screen won’t be an easy task and considers it a huge responsibility. Lets hope the Shiv Sena leaders will like it.
