After two years of Corona and some restrictions on the sale of Haleem, this year Haleem is on every street in Hyderabad. Both Mutton and Chicken Haleem are being sold across Hyderabad.
While Pista house is the popular choice of the Haleem eaters, all other shops are also doing good business. The city is decorated for the Ramzan Mahina and people are enjoying it with Haleem.
The Haleem has become costly in some popular joints and cheaper versions of the chicken are also available. It is being sold for a month in the name of Ramzan.
People from all sections of society are taking this food. They say it is an immunity booster with spices and ghee. A cola bottle is being given free of cost along with Haleem.
It is a business of around two hundred crores for the whole of the month put together. There are customers who would taste Haleem as a starter then goes for the Biryani and a soft drink.
Haleem is being sold in large quantity this year for home delivery. Some people are ordering Haleem and Chai also. The traders have increased the rate of Chai and also Haleem this year.
Still, the Chai and haleem are consumed all night across the city during the month of Ramzan. These days Haleem is being given as a starter in marriages also.
