Sakshi Dhoni wife of cricketer MS Dhoni, has applied for a gun licence. She cited the reason as a danger to her life. Sakshi said that she is almost alone at home and whenever she travels she was alone. So she thought it fit to have a gun with her for self-protection in times of any danger.
earlier Dhoni also procured a gun license. Fist he was turned down and alter he got. He practised shooting with the help of police and that video went viral on the web.
Sakshi wanted a license for a pistol or a .32 revolver. Celebrities having security and a gun licence is common. But here Dhoni is one man who is very popular. He has security with him in place but when he travels in person and has no security it is right to have a gun or a pistol for self-defence.
It is the same with his wife, especially when she is travelling with the kid. The weapon will definitely give a sense of security. Let hope Sakshi will get the license and a gun at the earliest.
