Safe space for Kids

As a part of awareness on Cyber Crimes, the Women Safety Wing,TS launched the “Cyber Ambassador Platform” (C.A.P) on 11.01.2023 to educate children in government and social welfare schools across 33 districts.

This program was launched with the aim to create a sustainable cyber safe space for children, who are particularly vulnerable to cybercrimes, in partnership with the Education Department Government
of Telangana.

For the academic year 2022-2023, the program was conducted in 2381 government schools across the state including the BC,SC, ST & Minority Welfare Schools. As a part of the program in the last 2 months various sessions have been held for the Cyber Ambassadors and they are now fully trained to take up their duties.

In this regard, to appreciate the trained Cyber Ambassadors a school level investiture ceremony was held . All the (6412) selected Cyber Ambassadors from (1603) Schools of samagrasikha have taken oath as Cyber Ambassadors.

They were also presented with a Badge on successful completion of their training. During the Investiture Ceremony,the Cyber Ambassadors also shared the knowledge and skills gained by them during the training in the areas of Cyber safety, Cyber security and Cybercrimes to the other students of their school and community.

All the SHE Team Officers of the concerned districts have attended the ceremony in their respective jurisdictional schools. These Cyber Ambassadors will be a good asset in prevention of cybercrimes in future.
