Cricketer Sachin Tedulkar who is endorsing the True Blue brand of garments of Arvind mills as a Joint venture wants to sell the brand in other countries. He wants to expand into women’s garments also. Arvind is manfuacturer of Flying Machine, Excalibur and Ruggers which are very popular in the country. Now they want the True Blue brand to expand abroad.
True Blue wants to reach around Rs 500 crore business in the next 5 years. Tendulkar says the business will come and he is hopeful for that. When you start counting centuries they dont come easily says Sachin Tendulkar. Now the idea is to restructure True Blue as a Global brand and see that the tag made in India is visible in most of the potential countries.
Sachin also revealed that it is not a sports brand as people are presuming and they must have a different outlook about this.True blue has about 10 exclusive outlets and it is sold in about 75 other outlets along with other brands.Now the plans are to take the same abroad and show them about what really is made in India says Sachin.
