Minister for Education Sabitha Indra Reddy who is busy in the midst of the election has got bad news this morning.
She was supposed to go for an election campaign. But she received the news from the police.
A ASI of Police working as escort in charge for Sabitha Indra Reddy shot himself dead with his service revolver at Srinagar colony Banjara Hills on Sunday.
The ASI, Mohd Fazil, working with the Armed Reserve Rachakonda was in charge of the police escort of Sabitha Indra Reddy.
This morning, Fazil’s daughter dropped him near the house of the Minister to join duty.
“Fazil shot himself with a gun he was carrying. He sustained a gunshot wound in the head. He was rushed to hospital where doctors pronounced him dead,” said DCP West Joel Davis.
The senior police reached the spot and inspected it. Minister Sabitha Reddy also visited the spot. There is a talk that the ASI was in financial problems.
