Leaders of other political parties predicted a change in the Congress party and ranks after the election results. But the race for the TPCC post and the next CM post has already started.
Leaders in the Congress have already lined up for the PCC post as the Congress is in power in Telangana. When Revanth Reddy was made the TPCC chief, the seniors revolted and questioned this. Some of them even alleged that the TPCC chief post was sold. But Revanth Reddy developed good ties with the seniors. With this, the focus went on to the debate of who would get the chance.
In the same fashion some media has reported that Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy is trying to get the CM post in case the Congress gets the less MP seats.
Though the seniors are in the race, many say that Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka might get an edge as he missed the CM post. Most of them were of the opinion that Revanth has purchased the PCC and CM post.
Is it really up for sale? Then who will buy it this time is the question. If BJP gets more MP seats, a section of the Congress MLAs will move to BJP they say. It has to be seen what happens after the elections.
There is also a talk that after the New PCC posting a few Congress leaders and MLAs might move to the BJP. People are talking about the August crisis, but things are moving at a faster pace and we have to see what happens after June 4.
