Jagapathi Babu has done exceedingly well in this movie. While the first half was satisfying, the second half failed to carry the momentum. Though the film’s central theme, “Battle for self-respect,” is present.
But the scenes were not executed well. They could have been presented in a better fashion. The director knows the theme and story very well, but he could not present it properly.
The pacing dips in the second half, and it gives a feeling that the movie is lengthy. The editor could not have used his scissors properly. Things could have been wrapped up a bit faster.
The emotional scenes were just okay, but they could have been presented in an even better fashion to give completeness to the film. The movie lacked potency and could not explode to the level expected.
A senior director could have handled it in a better fashion.
Mamta Mohandas was terrific in the first half, which leaves one wanting to see more of her. The action blocks and the climax were not that good. The movie needs a good stunt master.
