The ruling and the opposition legislators traded charges against each other over various issues. KTR led the attack against the ruling party from the front. The members heckled each other.
Heated arguments took place between the ruling and opposition benches over the power supply issue and Rythu Bandhu scheme implemented by the BRS government. Participating in a short discussion on the Rythu Bharosa scheme of the Congress government, KTR claimed that it was former Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao, who gave 24-hour free power supply to the agriculture sector in the country.
During the BRS regime, the acreage was increased significantly and Nalgonda district became greener. In response to KTR’s claims, Reddy intervened and offered to resign if KTR proved that 24-hour power was supplied to the sector and he was also ready to show the logbook.
He said Congress would get the credit of giving free power supply to farmers.
The BRS made friends with the former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy during its tenure and rendered injustice to Telangana in sharing Krishna waters.
