Both the ruling and opposition party members traded charges against each other over State’s debts and borrowings apart from delay in giving overseas scholarships to the eligible candidates.

When the BRS MLA KP Vivekananda alleged that the commission was being demanded to give scholarships, Industries Minister D Sridhar Babu intervened and took a serious note of the former’s remarks. Sridhar Babu requested the Speaker to withdraw the remarks from the records leading to a war of words between the members of the ruling and opposition members.

After the Speaker rejected their request, the BRS MLAs started raising slogans and protested near the well. In spite of urging the MLAs to sit in their respective chairs, the members did not relent forcing the Speaker to express anger on them.
