Andhra Pradesh Assembly witnessed chaotic scenes today over the issue special status and was adjourned. . Speaker K Sivaprasad Rao requested the members not to create hungama and advised them to participate in the discussion. The YSRC members protested at the podium and demanded that the AP must get special status.On the other hand the YSRC has called for a state Bandh over the issue.
As soon as the house assembled, YSRCP MLAs raised the issue of Special status to AP and rushed to podium demanding a statement from the Government. Minister for Legislative affairs Yanmala Ramakrishnudu assured the members that the Government will give a statement over the matter. However, members of ruling TDP wanted the house to discuss other issues leading to a confrontation between the two sides.
On the other hand the BJP members found fault with the YSRC members attitude and wanted the speaker to suspend them. The YSRC members tried to tear the papers and throw them at the podium. They rushed to the podium and created din in the house. The house could not take up the question hour in the morning.
