YSRC leader Vijay Sai Reddy along with the party leaders and supported reached the Ramatheertham to see the statue of beheaded Lord Ram here.
The BJP leaders are already on a hunger strike here. TDP leader Chandrababu Naidu is coming to the spot to visit the Lord Ram Statue here which was beheaded.
This is a 400 year old Temple having a lot of significance.
The Priests reported to the police that he door of the ancient temple was broken and the Lord Ram idol was desecrated. The head of Lord Ram was found inside the temple pond a day later.
The Cops have formed 5 teams to probe into the issue. The YSRC Government led by Jagan came under severe attack over the incident. Three political parties are visiting the Temple on the same day.
Tension prevailed in the area and also in the Temple premises. BJP, YSRC and the TDP are agitating over the issue of idol desecration. The agitators broke the window panes of Vijay Saireddys car. The agitators have thrown chappals on the car of Vijay Sai Reddy who came to see the beheaded statue of Lord Ram here at Ramathertham.
The agitators shouted the slogans against the CM Jaganmohan Reddy. The Local lady chief of the BJP fainted shouting the slogans of Jai Sreeram.
