Sitaram Yechury the General secretary of CPM alleged that RSS was behind the protests which led to the 2 women coming back from Ayyappa Temple back to the Sannidanam without having the Darshan of Ayyappa.
While the court ruled that women of all ages can enter the Temple, the Sabarimala Temple authorities said that they would close the Temple if young women tried to enter the sanctum of Ayyappa Temple.
Yechury alleged that the RSS was trying to make an issue like Ayodya out of the Ayyappa Darshan issue. The RSS leaders agreed that Ayyappa Temple is like the Ayodhya for the South and that the religious sanctity has to be maintained at any cost.
The RSS spokesperson said that the Ram Temple would be constructed in Ayodhya and a favourable verdict from the Supreme court is expected on October 29.
The Babri Masjid at the disputed site was demolished by Hindu activists in December 1992, claiming that the Ram Temple was demolished to build the Masjid at the site.Now the court verdict is awaited about the dispute for the construction of Ram Temple.
Shiv Sena leader Uddhav Thakrey is visiting the disputed site on October 25 to take stock of the situation.
