TTD has modernized and given a new look to SV Rest House and Narayanagiri Rest House at Tirumala and revised the rentals accordingly to suit the needs of the pilgrim devotees.
The rents of these rest houses were almost three decades old. However, upon the suggestions and feedback by devotees ACs, Geysers, wooden cots and modern furniture were included and room tariffs have been rationalized suitably.
TTD reiterated that it was wrong for a section of media to report that room rents in these rest houses have been hiked inordinately and appealed to devotees to make note of facts.
Sri Andal Neeratotsavam festivities commenced in Sri Govinda Raja Swamy temple on Saturday in Tirupati.
