Governor Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan as chief guest attended program “Awareness Seminar on Anti- Human Trafficking”, organized by National Commission for Women & CISF at Vikas Auditorium, National Institute of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj, Rajendranagar, Hyderabad.
On the occasion, the Governor underscored the critical role of women empowerment for successful fight against human trafficking. She placed a high priority on the protection of vulnerable groups of children, women, laborers, and displaced persons.
In her enthralling address, she articulated a three-pronged strategy i.e. origin, transit, and destination points of these trafficking networks to effectively combat human trafficking.
The seminar witnessed an engaged and enthusiastic gathering, all committed to the noble cause of eradicating human trafficking from our society.
