YSRCP’s controversial MLA Roja has been taken into police custody on Saturday at the Gannavaram airport. She was on her way to attend the World Women Parliamentarians Conference on the second day at the capital city Amaravathi.
Talking to media Raja said that CM Chandrababu was targeting her for no reason and harassing her. She questioned as to why Brinda Karat was not invited. She charged that Babu has wantonly done this to avoid her. She questioned as to why was Brahmani invited for the meet. She also opined that Jagan should have been invited for the meet.
As Roja came out the flight, she was heckled. While exact reasons for taking her into custody isn’t known, it’s learnt that cops have taken her into custody as precautionary measures in order to avoid any untoward incident at World Parliamentarian’s Conference.
It’s alleged that Roja was planning to agitate at the conference to defame AP government in World Parliamentarian’s Conference. TDP women leaders alleged that Roja is trying to do cheap politics at the event.
It’s also said that intelligence alerted that the Roja is planning to create nuisance at the venue where AP CM Chandrababu’s daughter in law And Heritage Foods Director Nara Brahmani is scheduled to deliver speech on womens role in corporate world.
Roja had been invited to attend the world conference as she is woman leader representing as MLA from Nagiri constituency. However, she was not seen on the first day of the conference.
