The humanoid robot, created by Hanson robotics was bestowed citizenship by Saudi Arabia last week.
The Future Investment Initiative will be held in the kingdom’s capital city of Riyadh.
As per reports, Sophia told the audience, “I am very honoured and proud of this unique distinction.”
“This is historical to be the first robot in the world to be recognized with a citizenship.”
