Director Shankar of Robo fame was issued a Non Bailable Warrant. There is a case pending against the director that he has copied the Robot story.
The Court has asked Shankar to appear and explain on the allegation that he has copied the Robot story. The NBW was issued as the director has failed to appear before the court several times since 2010.
Robot was a block buster and from that time onwards a writer by name Arur Taminadan has been claiming that it was his story that Shankar has used for the Robot film.
But Shankar has been evading the court from time to time. Now the court has issued a NBW against him. This is not new to popular directors. When they get a hit, there is someone or the other claiming that the story belongs to them.
Even Trivikram Srinivas has faced such kind of allegations in Telugu. But no one filed case against Trivikram in the court.
