One more MLC has got added to the tally of the TRS MLCs. The Secretary to State Legislature & the Returning Officer has declared that Gutha Sukender Reddy, Telangana Rashtra Samithi as duly elected as uncontested to fill the vacancy caused in the Telangana State Legislative Council due to disqualification of K Yadava Reddy.
Gutha is a senior leader from Nalgonda who could not win the election. Being a senior leader he was elevated to head the farmer’s organisation. Now he was given the MLC post looking at his political background and the hold that he has in the politics.
It is reported that Gutta is very happy that he has been elected undisputed to the post and he is scheduled to meet the Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao and thank him for the same. Gutha was in Janata party and later joined the TDP. He shifted to Congress party under Y S Rajasekhar Reddy and now he is in TRS. He was an MP earlier.
