JD is popular as Satya in Bollywood which was directed by Ramgopal Varma. JD got a remuneration just Rs 1000 from RGV for this movie. JD was the man who took the reels of Satya to the theatres those days as there was none to take the movie.
But the movie became a super duper hit and there was no looking back for the RGV after Satya in Hindi. Urmila who lost the recent election was the leading lady in Satya. Urmila and JD have also done a Telugu movie earlier which was produced by RGV and directed by Sivanageshwar Rao.
Both are like guru and chela. It is reported that JD is working in a special role in the movie Hippi and he was seen in the promotions. He was talking to the media here and there and in one of the interviews, JD said that he was, in fact, planning a movie with RGV.
Both RGV and JD are having a bad time. They dont have any hits , but they are known in Bollywood and Tollywood. JD has become very sober after getting married and now he looks good also.
Letshope they would churn out a superduper hit in Tollywood again.
