Controversial Director Ram Gopal Varma could be arrested in connection with the comments that he posted in twitter against the investigating officer Akun Sabharawal and his SIT .
He stated that the cine people were taken to task for about 12 hours for question and do they propose to take the students also to task for 12 years. Because of this the family members of cine artists are shattered he criticized. He also charged that the SIT was leaking points to the Media in this connection.
But the police said that this amounts to preventing the police from working. Varma was trying to shield the accused the opined. Varma could be arrested for stalling the duty of the police they said.
But Varma said he has all the respect for the police and that Akun was doing the duty sincerely. He opined that he was against the way it was being done without proper evidence.
