Minister for Revenue, Housing, Information & Public Relations d along with Advisor to Chief Minister Vem Narender Reddy and Chief Secretary Santhi Kumari held a video conference with the collectors and CPs/SPs and reviewed the Indiramma housing programme, conduct of Group II exams, launching of enhanced diet charges in welfare institutions and caste survey programme.
Minister informed that the government will take up construction of 4.5 lakh houses in the first phase. He said that the Honourable Chief Minister has launched Indiramma App on the 5 th of this month, objective of the App is to verify the applications received for housing during PrajaPalana and ascertain eligibility.
He stated that around 80 lakh applications were received under Indiramma housing scheme. Collectors have to identify field level functionaries for survey at the rate of one surveyor per 500 applications.
The Indiramma committees should be informed about the survey. Collectors have to monitor the programme on a daily basis, he said and added that there should be a proper grievance redressal mechanism in place.On the launch of new diet menu in welfare and residential institutions,Minister said that the programme should be launched across all ashram,welfare, residential and KGBV schools of the state on the 14 th of this month.
Mothers of the child should be invited for the programme. Collectors have to meet with all the institutions’ heads and brief them about the programme to be conducted. Minister noted that the government has increased the diet charges by 40 percent and as such Collectors should ensure that the parents attend the launching programme at all the institutions.
They should also see that the revised menu should be properly displayed at all the institutions. Minister complimented the district collectors for successfully completing the socio economic survey inspite of facing several hurdles in the initial stages. Minister directed that all arrangements for the Group 11 exams to be held on 15 th and 16 th of this month should be done in a fool proof manner to the utmost satisfaction of everyone.
