TTD EO Sri J Syamala Rao reviewed TTD-run Hospitals and Educational Institutions.
Along with JEO for Health and Education Smt Goutami, he reviewed in detail with the heads of respective Hospitals and Educational Institutions.
As a part of it SVIMS Director Dr RV Kumar explained the EO the various areas and facilities in their super speciality Hospital, while Sri Padmavati Children’s Heart Care Centre Director Dr Srinath Reddy explained the EO that so far 2901 heart surgeries have been successfully carried out on children that includes 1544 open heart and 1357 key hole surgeries.
Through PPT he also explained the EO, besides 16 Heart Transplantations which were carried out in the last three years free of cost in the hospital.
He said besides AP, patients from Telangana, Tamilnadu, Karnataka,West Bengal, Orissa, Bihar and even from Andaman, Bangladesh also.
Dr Ram, Dr Jayachandra Reddy from SVIMS, Dr Venugopal, RMO Sri Kishore from BIRRD, TTD CMO Dr. Muralidhar, Incharge CMO Dr Narmada,Medical Superintendent of SV Ayurvedic Hospital Dr Renu Dixit was
also present.
Later the EO had a detailed review of staff strength, faculty vacancies, funding, courses, placements and other topics related to various educational institutions run under the umbrella of TTD.
Sri Rani Sadasivamurty, the Vice Chancellor of Sri Venkateswara Vedic University, new Devasthanam Educational Officer Sri Nagaraja Naidu, Principals and Head masters of various colleges and schools of TTD were also present.
