The BJP is in favor of reverting to the Ballot paper voting again. BJP General secretary Ram Madhav was reacting to the allegations made by the Congress leaders in the plenary yesterday.
Madhav said that people used EVMs as all parties agreed for EVMs . Now if people want we can go back to Ballot paper if all the political parties agree for the same.
Some political parties like Congress and the BSP have apprehensions that EVMs were managed by the BJP for winning the elections. If it was real why did the BJP lose the election in Gorakhpur is the question.
The ECI has made several presentations that the EVMs cannot be tampered . But there are people who have manipulated the EVMs with the Mobile phones. Taking all this into account the BJP leader Ram Madhav said that he was open for discussions and was for shifting to the ballot in case all the political parties agree to the same.
Mayawati and also Mamatha were the two leaders who were against the usage of EVMs. But one can say that it is an advantage for the BJP in case they decide to use Ballot paper. The BJP has teams who can manage the Ballot election also.
