Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has expressed shock over the death of Telugu media tycoon, Head of Eenadu Groups and Padma Vibhushan recipient Cherukuri Ramoji Rao.
Revanth said that his death was a big loss to the Telugu media and business sectors. “Ramoji Rao is a person who spread the glory of Telugu people at the national level.
He was a visionary who showed a decade to the TV media sector by running Enadu Magazine at the number one position for five decades in a situation where magazine management was considered a challenge.
Ramoji Rao is a great person who gave utmost importance to values and credibility in any sector.
Ramoji Rao is a visionary who ran Eenadu as a number-one news daily for more than 5 decades even during challenging times and also laid a strong foundation for TV industry by establishing ETV,” said Revanth Reddy in his condolence message.
The Chief Minister, who is in Delhi to attend CWC meeting, directed state Chief Secretary Santhi Kumari to conduct Ramoji Rao’s funeral with official honours. There is a chance that the CM would attend the cremation process of Ramoji on Sunday.
