Revanth Reddy who has joined the Congress party from the TDP is all set to strike an alliance with the TDP for the next elections it is reported. The Congress is not averse to the idea of joining the TDP in Telangana as they have got good cadre. Some big leaders from the TDP and the Congress have joined the TRS, but the cadre remains with the mother party.
It is learnt that Revanth Reddy wants to trounce the TRS by hook or crook and for that he is also gearing up for the Karnataka experiment. Join with others and stop the TRS is the latest Mantra. Broadly Rahul Gandhi and the TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu has some preliminary discussions over the matter.
After the Karnataka meeting, they are more or less in touch with each other and are looking at the AP and the Telangana scenario. More than AP the atmosphere here in Telangana is conducive for an alliance of the TDP and the Congress. The Congress is doing better than the TDP here.
But at the same time, the TRS chief is also very clear that they have to see that Revanth will not enter the Assembly again at any cost. Come what may we must defeat Revanth is the mantra from the TRS.
But all said and done KCR is having all the edge to win the next elections like Modi at the centre. The Haritha Haram is going on like the election campaign and the popularity of KCR is going up.
