The Congress party wants to win more seats in the coming parliament elections. CM Revanth is holding a cabinet meeting on 12 the to clear more welfare schemes for the poor in the state so that they good voting in the parliament elections.

Chief Minister Revanth is keen on clearing some proposals about the implementation of welfare schemes.
This has to be done before the election notification code comes into vogue.

The Cabinet is expected to decide on crop loan waiver of up to Rs.2 lakh promised during the Assembly polls, which is one of its Six Guarantees if it is voted to power.

Since assuming office on December 7, the Congress government has implemented free bus travel to women in TSRTC buses, doubling of health insurance cover to Rs.10 lakh under Rajiv Arogyasri, providing domestic gas at Rs.500 per cylinder and supply of free electricity to households up to 200 units.

Reddy will launch one more guarantee-constructing ‘Indiramma houses’ at Bhadrachalam on Monday.

But the Government is not implementing the 200 free unis schemesl properly. Now they are saying that it would for the people who would consumer under 200 units and those units are free with the zero bill.

The percentage of the consumer who would use under 200 units will be less. Earlier people voted Congress thinking that all would get the first 200 units free and the rest would be charged.

Many tenants who are using under 200 units are not getting free as they have a meter but not in their name even after having the white ration card.

The REvanth Government needs to have a policy review on the power-free scheme.
