Rumors are in circulation that Revanth Reddy once attempted to join Bharatiya Janata Party. He, however, was unsuccessful because BJP Leadership didn’t offer its consent. The vote for note case is coming in the way for Revanth.
BJP Chief Amit Shah directed Revanth Reddy to obtain a clean chit in the cash-for-vote case before changing the party. The Firebrand would have been the chief of Telangana BJP by now had if he wasn’t involved in the scandal.
There are also stories that Kishan Reddy and Laxman who were with the BJP did not like the idea of making Revanth as the BJP chief.
BJP Leadership wishes to disassociate itself with leaders facing corruption charges. PM Narendra Modi is against corruption in all forms and would not encourage leaders who are in limelight with corruption charges.
