Popular Journalist and news presenter on Republic TV Arnab Goswami was arrested by armed police in an old case which was already shut and closed.
The case was pertaining to the death of an architect and interior designer. Many Ministers including the Union Minister for I and B Prakash Javdekar have condemned the arrest of the senior journalist and termed it as a reminded of the Emergency of the Indira Gandhi days.
Union Minister for Home Amitshah termed it as misuse power by the Maharashtra Government.
Congress and its allies have shamed democracy once again.
Blatant misuse of state power against Republic TV & Arnab Goswami is an attack on individual freedom and the 4th pillar of democracy.
