The Republic day festivities were organized by the Government of Telangana in Hyderabad with ceremonial grandeur, gaiety and patriotic fervour. The celebrations were conducted in a befitting manner at Raj Bhavan, Hyderabad wherein the Hon’ble Governor of Telangana Smt. Tamilisai Soundararajan unfurled the National Flag.
On arrival, the Hon’ble Governor of Telangana was received by the Chief Secretary, Telangana Smt. Santhi Kumari and Director General of Police, Telangana Sri Anjani Kumar. The Hon’ble Governor was given Rastriya Salute by the TSSP platoons.
The Hon’ble Governor unfurled the National Flag at Raj Bhavan. Police band played the National Anthem.The police contingents conducted the Parade. Following the address by Hon’ble Governor, the parade commander, after seeking permission, marched off the contingents.
Padma awardees, Eminent personalities from different fields and the senior officers of Telangana State, as well as the public participated in large numbers in the above celebrations.
